Look what I scored! Roughly 6 pounds of fresh, ground venison and 1 1/2 pounds of venison sausage. A coworker or mine bagged a couple of deer with his son and offered to give me some since he had “too much”. Lucky me. I’m very thankful for his generosity and I’ll definitely be putting this to good use. I have one tube thawing out in the refrigerator so we can make venison sliders later this week.
Now I just need some good recipes for the rest. Any ideas?
