Getting a good night’s sleep is very underrated and, if you’re following a paleo/primal lifestyle, good sleep is the cornerstone of good health. Here’s a great infographic about the importance of getting a good night’s sleep from Frugal Dad.

A new infographic video from WWF shows that we can grow enough food for everyone, it just won’t be pretty.
The folks over at Paleolithicdiet.com combined two things that I love, paleo eating and nerdy infographics. Although the data and visuals are a bit scattered the infographic does a good job explaining how the paleo diet works and why many people need to alter their diet/eating patterns. The amounts of seemingly inaccurate nutritional information is mind boggling to me and hopefully with this blog I can learn more about paleo nutrition and share it with you.

Hope you have a great weekend. I’d love to hear what you’re cooking this weekend. Drop me a comment and let me know.

This is a great look at the diet of the average American. Honestly, I’m surprised we eat 415 punds of vegetables and 273 pounds of fruit per year - that seems high to me. Also notice that corn makes up almost 14% of the vegetables and corn syrup accounts for a staggering 30% of sweeteners! Wow.
Looking at this makes me happy to embark on the paleo style of eating! If I could use Illustrator I’d love to make one of these for the typical primal/paleo eater

This Is What You Eat in a Year (Including 42 Pounds of Corn Syrup)
